What we stand for
We love fashion, and style, but not at the cost of our planet.
repurpose consumerism
The Impact Stylist values the planet and we work towards a more sustainable future of fashion.
Our goal is to flip consumerism and create more meaningful value from garments. We look to keep excess textiles out of landfills for as long as we can, make ethical shopping easy, and help shoppers feel good whilst doing something great for the world. You can enjoy a ‘new’ outfit every month, try different styles, save time and the environment at the same time.
disrupt old patterns
Many resources have spoken of fast fashion and that their supply chain is toxic, but we are not here to criticise. 46% of our survey answers have indicated that ethical shopping often comes with the challenge of finding the right size, styles, or simply the lack of options.
To combat this, we use data to take the bias out of the buying decision process and solve the paradox of choices. Our customers can buy, or donate clothing, which ultimately repurpose every piece of garment and minimising the impacts of the eventual disposal.
Our mantra is to make fast fashion slow, and make sustainable fashion easy - one garment at a time.
support sustainability
We support sustainable businesses and designers whose mission is aligned with ours: reducing our carbon footprint of the fashion industry.
Our customers can choose to receive either preloved clothing, sustainably made clothing, or a combination of both. We leverage the power of referrals to actively advocate and expanding our impact.
create value by giving 5% to the world
Simply put, we convert clothing into cash, and contributing 5% of the proceeds to fund projects that make the world a better place.
When we donate our clothes, especially to the areas or countries recovering from disasters, we often think that we are doing something good. Unfortunately, many times, we are actually contributing to the textile pollution problems and turning these disaster zones into dumping grounds of unwanted goods, causing more damage to their local economies.
We want to create a collective impact and commit to donate 5% of our profits to address societal issues. This means, you are the changemaker and the power of making a difference is within you.
